A Japanese wizard, whose recipe for a magical music cocktail is based on the ability to portion with precision drops of jazz, hip-hop, soul, rock and classical music – that is Yuki Hirano, a.k.a. BigYuki. The infinite music landscapes he composes pulse with a strong influence of electronic mix, groove and rhythmical beat. And where else than in Prague, once a capital of alchemy, should this piano alchemist from New York appear! BigYuki will perform his explosive show in the Czech Republic for the very first time.
In October 2015 BigYuki released his debut album Green Fire, which features – besides Yuki Hirano – Justin Tyson’s drums (Robert Glasper, Esperanza Spalding) and Randy Runyon’s guitar. His experimental approach to music and unparalleled sound attracted interest of black-music celebrities including hip-hop producer Talib Kweli, saxophonist Marcus Strickland, rapper Q-Tip or Grammy Award-winner Bilal.
