CARROUSEL (FR/CH) + Les Gars d´en Bas (CZ/FR)

Carrousel is a French-Swiss nouvelle-chanson & folk rock band, founded by Sophie Burande and Léonard Gogniat in 2007. Their debut album Tandem was released in February 2010 and the second album En équilibre followed in June 18, 2012. Through their music career they have played more than 450 concerts through Europe and released 3 studio albums, whereas the last one L’euphorie will be introduced during their performance at Jazz Dock club in Prague.

Music of Carrousel is a fresh, vivacious and well ballanced mix of pop, rock and chanson music. They released a single titled J’avais rendez-vous in November 2012 which they took part in the Eurovision Song contest in 2013, held in Malmö, Sweden. Their first concert in the Czech Republic, as part of Mladi Ladi Jazz festival will be patronised by Embassy of Swiss Confederation and the weekly press Frankofonie.
