You can look forward to the performance of the two final bands of the International category:
The Sedno band is characterized by electronic sounds combined with live instruments, unique energy built through trance repetitions, metric loops, bold combinations of various styles and materials – from jazz, through minimal techno to ethnic elements.
Kota No Uta is a Berlin-based artist, producer, and singer-songwriter. Her experimental sound blends neo-psychedelic soul, creating a unique musical experience. As a multicultural storyteller, Kota draws inspiration from metaphor and mythology, often reflecting on daily observations of her surroundings in her lyrics.
And the finalists and winners of the Junior category:
Renegatz are a band of four young musicians from Brno. Their work combines influences of modern and traditional jazz, funk, folk tradition or blues. The first stimuli for the formation of the band date back to 2020. The Renegatz project itself was founded in the autumn of 2021, when the three founding members Andrej Hrubč (keyboards), Andrej Hudec (bass guitar) and David Kašuba (drums) split from another local band and started to create their own compositions. Their modern history dates back to the summer of 2023, when Michal Ondrička (saxophone) joined them and brought with him the necessary musical and human chemistry. The primary idea behind Renegatz is to create original music that naturally reflects the musical personalities of each member. Live communication, often in real time and in concert, is the most essential component of Renegatz’s identity.
